We hired Munz Roofing to replace our gutters, soffits, and fascia boards. We are very pleased. We requested that the work be done in Azek (PVC board), which is not typical, and they had no trouble quoting the job (another company I contacted before them wouldn't work with Azek). We are very pleased with the finished job as well as the price. Gutters, soffits, and fascia are parts of a house that are normally just background. You rarely notice them *unless* there is something wrong. Ours are now back to being background.
The sales rep was Mike Morrin. He arrived right on schedule for our appointment. He was friendly and well-informed about Munz's products and services. He answered all my questions, took photos and measurements, and was able to provide me with a quote on the spot. The job was completed for exactly the price quoted, which we appreciated since we don't like surprises!
The installation crew arrived exactly when they said they would and worked all day for two days. Sabio Mata, the project manager, went over the job with us before they started, kept us up-to-date on the progress, and made sure we were satisfied with the work while things could still be corrected, if necessary.
This is the sort of job few people deal with more than once in their lifetime and we learned a couple of things we'd like to pass on. First, if you have any fragile plants near the work area, protect them with a trash can or something. Falling debris is a byproduct of removing the old materials and damage is possible. Second, consider covering your flower beds to keep wood chips, nails, paint flakes, etc. from getting into the dirt. Again, falling material is going to occur during this sort of work and it is easier to prevent a mess than clean it up after the fact.
We look forward to working with Munz again when the time comes to replace our roof.
